Practice is what separates the recreational player from the competitive disc golfer. However, it is proper and focused practice that separates the good player from the great player. We all have different goals within the game, but one will never achieve their true potential without adopting some solid practice habits. If playing a serious round and keeping score is your idea of practice, you are only covering an eighth of it. While it's true that a lot of mental maturity can come from putting yourself in game-like situations, it is more about the skill set you are bringing with you to that competitive situation. In reality, you throw about 20 drives, 10 approaches and if you're on that day about 25 putts. Those numbers typically describe our warm-up before we actually practice. The good news is that practice doesn’t have to be a drudging experience. Keep it fresh and try new locations to practice in. In this section we have included many practice tips and fun games to keep it interesting. Let us know if any of these tips pay off for you, and best of luck out there.
